Padme Livingstone calls her work Healing with Awareness. She offers secular awareness meditation classes, individualized meditation guidance as well as spiritual guidance and medical qi gong. All are expressions of Padme’s commitment to, and understanding of, the process of healing hearts, minds, and bodies. Padme has a B.S. in Human Services and extensive experience with parenting, relationship skills, and energy work. She was the Meditation Teacher and Qi Gong Therapist at Equipoise, a Rochester, NY complementary health center for two years. Padme now teaches several meditation classes/week, leads and co-leads workshops, and gives public talks about awareness as well. Padme’s book, Let’s Not Call It Meditation: Practical Guidance for People Who Think They Can’t Sit Still and Quiet the Mind is available on this website. Wholesalers can find it listed through Ingram Publishing. She is author of three meditation CDs: Remembering Awareness, Uncovering Compassion, and A Forgiveness Meditation. Padme has contributed to Nature’s Wisdom magazine, espacio-time.com, and edgelife.net. Padme has had a monthly column called Living with Awareness in Edgelife Magazine, as well as in Rutabaga Rap. The column also appeared in New Health Digest for 2 years. Meditation teacher and author, Padme Nina Livingstone has spent much of her life untangling her own confusion, and finding balance for her physical, mental, emotional and spiritual life. After more than 30 years of meditation and self-inquiry, and over 18 years of energy healing work, Padme talks about awareness in a down-to-earth language— to people who want to grow with clarity, compassion, curiosity, honesty, and gratitude so that they can enjoy more of what life has to offer. Padme is currently enjoying learning Nonviolent Communication and enjoys seeing how everything she has ever consciously embraced—whether it is Buddhism, The Secret (a movie about the Law of Attraction), or NVC (Nonviolent Communication) —come together seamlessly when we live with joy and gratitude.
